In The Mood For Color

Having fun playing with a dramatic yet simple color scheme, inspired by the class from the Altenew Educator Program called In The Mood For Color.   The class prompts you to consider the message that your color scheme sends.  I like the boldness and the flash of the black, red and white.   

I hot-foiled the image called Decorative Flowers using red foil on black glossy paper.  Then I used a full hot plate to foil the negative image left on the foil scrap onto white glossy paper.  I die cut them out, and finished it off with a sentiment mounted on a circle cut from the left over foil scrap.  It's fun to see the gloss and foil shimmer as you move the card!
