This vintage style journal measures 7 x 9.5 inches and is gorgeously chunky with a 3.25 inch soft fabric covered spine. It features a handmade fabric tag sewn on the cover which was made from a cereal box. While the inside is covered with a map, the outside is a collage of vintage fabric and laces stitched on in a beautiful design. The book features a dangling butterfly and key charm, along with a wraparound closure repurposed from apron strings.
There are approximately 144 pages (front and back) including coffee dyed pages, old book pages, patterned papers, maps, ledger paper, sheet music, and various other collected and thrifted unique papers from around the world.
There are 3 signatures which were hand sewn in with the three hole pamphlet stitch method, using a natural tone waxed linen thread. The pages feature vintage laces, trim, stitching, pockets, flip outs, tabs, tags, and loads of ephemera. Each spread has plenty of space for journaling, both on pages and on the delightful add ins of handmade ephemera and note papers.
